We're here to help. Most questions are answered below.
No. There's no sign-up and no login. Your subscription is tied to your Apple Account through the App Store, so none of your learning activity is tied to a separate online account.
Skiiling AI is a paid app with an auto-renewable subscription — you can choose a monthly or an annual plan, and every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. Prices vary by region and are always shown in the app before you subscribe, so you can see the exact amount for your country first.
When you subscribe, you get 7 days of full access at no charge. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, it automatically converts to a paid subscription and your Apple Account is billed for the plan you chose. You can cancel any time during the trial to avoid being charged.
Subscriptions are handled by the App Store, not by us. On your Mac, open the App Store app → click your name → Account Settings → Subscriptions (or go to System Settings → your Apple Account → Media & Purchases → Manage). From there you can switch between monthly and annual, or cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the current period.
Because all billing goes through Apple, refunds are handled by Apple too. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account, and request a refund for the Skiiling AI purchase. If you have trouble, email us and we'll help point you in the right direction.
Sign in to the same Apple Account you used to subscribe, then open Skiiling AI. If it doesn't unlock automatically, use Restore Purchases on the subscription screen to re-sync your active subscription from the App Store.
The AI runs entirely on your Mac, and your questions, answers and code are processed on-device and are never sent to us or any third party. Your learning progress syncs privately through your own iCloud account (so it follows you across your Macs) — it stays in your private iCloud, which we can't see. We collect no personal data and run no servers that receive it. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Skiiling AI uses either Apple Intelligence built into macOS or an open model you download once that then runs locally. You can choose your engine in Settings → AI Engine inside the app.
Open Settings → AI Engine and confirm an engine is active. If you're using Apple Intelligence, make sure it's enabled on your Mac; otherwise download an open model and set it as active. Then quit and reopen the app.
Downloads run one at a time, so a model may show "Waiting" until the current one finishes. Cancel and restart the download from Settings → AI Engine, and make sure you have enough free disk space and a stable connection.
Skiiling AI is a native macOS app. On-device AI works best on Apple silicon Macs. Apple Intelligence requires a Mac and macOS version that support it; if yours doesn't, a downloadable open model is available as an alternative engine.
Tell the app your target role and background to generate a personalized skill path and roadmap. For interview practice, open Role Prep and choose technical, behavioural or system-design mock interviews to get tailored questions and feedback.
